amishcaravan (237), Winona, Minnesota, USA Mar 16, 2008 pours a light amber with very little head. pretty decent taste of hops and citrus. A pretty decent beer. I would probably purchase again. Cobra (1060), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA Mar 11, 2008 500 ml. brown bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a hazy orange color with a soapy tan colored head. Green highlights in this beer, probably from the hops. Sweet aromas of fresh cut grass overwhelm everything else.
Flavors are sweet malts, some yeast, brought up with hops. Medium mouthfeel, OK body. Finished sweet for the style. Nothing to write home about. Excitingly average at best. Hairofthedog (419), San Diego, California, USA Mar 6, 2008 The aroma was malty and with a slight hop note. The beer poured a golden amber color with thin head and lacing. The flavor was balanced and full with malt and spicy hop notes. The mouthfeel was light bodied and well carbonated. Haslinger (640), Syracuse, New York, USA Mar 3, 2008 Pours a magnificent rich amber color, Good
hop taste, a different mixture but not bad. Good taste throughout the mouth, a good IPA that I would possible purchase again. emerson430 (87), Lakewood, Ohio, USA Feb 24, 2008 Draft at "The Pub" in Rocky River, OH. Easy drinkin’ IPA with moderate hop character. You can taste and smell the Challenger and Cascade hops but it is a bit muted compared to other IPAs. For a scot IPA it’s not bad. LinusStick (1831), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 22, 2008 Ugh...terrible! Aroma was sweet candy with some hops in the background. Pour was a hazy light orange with no head. Taste was awful. Sweet light malt with just a hint of hops on the back of the throat with a perfumy quality. Little to no carbonation. Too sugary and sweet with no hops to balance it out. Blah. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA Feb 21, 2008 Tap. Amber body, caramel nose, hint of hops. Caramel, a bit grainy, slightly floral, slightly bitter. NicerInPerson (337), North of Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Feb 20, 2008 The aroma was malty with a catty nature and a bit of a grassy and spicy character. The aroma was toasty and nutty. The beer arrived crystal clear pale golden with an off-white well lasting head which laced the glass. The flavor was nicely bittered with a light bit of citrusy hop, grass, and hop spice. The bittering level was medium and when coupled with caramel was even better as the beer warmed. The body was medium with a moderate level of carbonation and a very nice creamy nature on the palate. The finish was dry with lasting hop character into the aftertaste and beyond. A really enjoyable pint! 20 oz draft at Sir Edmund Halley’s in Charlotte.
