jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 26, 2007 16.9oz bottle-pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is mild caramel malt, (continental&) citrus hops. Taste is caramel malt, earthy/floral/slight citrus hops. OK I read the label, northwest hops-OK, but no continental!! OK effervescence. Nice. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Sep 23, 2007 Updated: Sep 24, 2007Tap at Olivertwist , Stockholom ... Golden yellow ... light hop nose ... quite sharp hop with lots of fruity hop. boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 22, 2007 Tap... came out a bright, semi-foggy orange with little to no head. Floral, smooth, fruity malt up front followed by hops. Not as bittery-hop as I’d prefer. Possible session? Schultsc (478), Henderson, Nevada, USA Sep 21, 2007 On tap at Lucky Baldwin’s IPA Festival ’07. Light orange gold color with a thin head. Subtly smoky, almost heathery aroma with a slight malt sweetness. Some light peated malt smokiness is perceived with a touch of malty sweetness and herbaceousness. Light body without much bitterness. naivepegasus (183), USA Sep 17, 2007 poured into a chalice. Light, rapidly dissipated head, poured a honey orange color. Odor not overpowering, though the hops are noticeable. A lot less of a hop flavor than I expected, but it ends in a pleasant bitter hop aftertaste. An enjoyable beer, but there are better IPAs out there. jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA Sep 17, 2007 OK hop presence, but not very well balanced. Watery and thin, a very thin sweetness. Seems like just another generic crappy IPA. Uglyradio (775), Greenville, South Carolina, USA Sep 14, 2007 Fruity aromas. Copper color with a white head. Big fruity hop flavors. Medium mouthfeel. Very tastey. carboloader (318), Houston, Texas, USA Sep 10, 2007 Pours reddish amber, tall cream-colored head that lasts forever -- thick and oily. Aroma is fruity hops with some esters. I find it to be too sweet for me. It has a slight estery medicine-like quality that is clearly more European than American when it comes to IPAs. Personal preference I suppose.
