Commercial Description:
Bottle: Pastuerised.
A refreshing example of an India Pale Ale from the master brewers at Belhaven. The blend of Cascade and Challenger hops combine to produce an abundance of fresh hop aroma that preludes a bitter-dry taste explosion. Crafted from nearly three centuries of brewing heritage at Scotland’s oldest independent brewery, this ale from Belhaven will have your taste buds tingling.

Pours a deep amber with a small white head. Aroma is interesting because this is not your typical citrus smelling IPA this is much less sweet and more bitter. Taste very much the same a lot of hops but probably what you would not expect as this is an English style IPA. The more I drink this, the more I think I may have an infected bottle. Tons of sediment in this one. Plus, the beer has a almost burnt taste to it, strange indeed and not very good at all.

Somewhat of a session ale IMO. Tastes less hoppey and more sweet and bitter than most IPAs. Pours a honey amber color and tastes like hops and sugar. When it warms you can actually taste the thistle. Not bad.

Slightly cloudy amber beer with a white head and a fruity hop aroma. Clean, citrusy, flowery hop flavor and a heavy bitter finish.

Bottle. Body is amber with a pretty good frothy and foamy head. Aromas are slightly grassy with a sweet apple juice malt presence and a little bit of a grapefruit hops presence. Flavor is fairly sweet and gives way to a nice hops presence that brings a nice bitter finish to it. Well balanced but not complex.

Tap@Oliver Twist, Stockholm: Nicely soft hops on the aroma. Almost creamy mouthfeel that kicks in the end with sneaky hops.
