Malty, light sweet flavor with hoppy pine bitter notes and a dry fruity finish. bboven (103), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA May 27, 2007 Great sour/bitter flavor and interestingly dry, at least to my mouth. a very nice change of pace every once in a while. MagooinPA (99), Warminster, Pennsylvania, USA May 20, 2007 !6oz pour. Nice white, fluffy head and crystal clear pale-yellow color. Nice nose of hops siimilar to Youngs SLA. At first I thought it tasted like SLA but it didn’t hang on and turned out to be quite mellow for a Belhaven product. Mellow + balanced would be the right way to put it. Nice IPA in the UK fashion and worthy of another purchase. Nice session beer for sure. logan8usa (2), Puyallup, Washington, USA does not count May 19, 2007 grass, hay, golden, amber, hazy, frothy, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness, larsniclas (3383), Gothenburg, Sweden May 19, 2007 Draught at Plain Kitchen, Gothenburg, Sweden.
Goledn with a small, white, firm head.
Soft toffee in both aroma and flavour.
Some grass and a fine hoppy bitterness. BDR (2139), Roseville, Minnesota, USA May 19, 2007 Malty nose with a faint creamy head. Orangish brown color. Carmel body with slight smoke to it. No noticeable hop in the body. JK (2945), Richfield, Minnesota, USA May 16, 2007 A difficult beer to shoehorn in to any category. There is a vinous character to the aroma. Lightly bitter, with an herbal quality and light malt. It is fairly thick, and reminds me of a Scotch ale.
