tykjen (182), Florø, Norway Mar 30, 2007 In spite of the use of cascade hops, it has more of a british than an american touch. Up front hops, but they remind me more of styrian goldings than cascade. Filtered and/or pasteurized bottled ale. My guess would be that it would have been much more fresh and drinkable if it hadn’t been ruined the industrial way. The result is a middle of the road IPA. heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Mar 30, 2007 From a bottle. The body is just slightly hazed with a nice dark gold and orange body. There is a long lasting eg shell head on top. The aroma makes me think English beer as it has muted tangerines and some toffee. There is also a floral note in this nice smell. The taste is fairly interesting with toasted almonds and toffee. There is also just a little bit of orange peel zest. This is a solid IPA and I appreciate this take on the style. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark Mar 29, 2007 Bottle. Golden clear colour with a nice fine head. Hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and melon-like. Nice refreshing flavour with notes of hops combined with a light malt profil. beeranarchist (184), Aalborg, Denmark Mar 22, 2007 Bottle. Yellow, clear with a white head. Fruity, citrusyand flower-ish aroma. The aroma is not powerful, but quite good however. Flavour is little too malty and sweet to my taste, but ok. kwoeltje (1313), Manchester, Missouri, USA Mar 15, 2007 (bottle) Hazy light-medium amber with generous head. Somewhat fruity aroma (apricot, pineapple, citrus). Flavor is a bit sweet, with hops flavors like the aroma. Actually better colder than when it warmed. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Mar 9, 2007 Bottle. Clear light amber color with a average frothy good lacing white head. Aroma is light malty, caramel, toffe, heavy hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate to light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Mrthirstyneck (341), Minnesota, USA Mar 9, 2007 not a bad IPA kinda an odd flavor i cant pinn down. but was nice in color smooth and blanced fairly well better than some a nice beer bhensonb (4189), Woodland, California, USA Mar 8, 2007 Floral, slightly evergreen hop aroma. Not so strong as NW IPAs. A white head that passed away with a little lacing. Good bracing start - malt almost evenly balanced with hop. A bit citrusy. Light to medium mouthfeel. There is a caramel aspect to the malt. But the bitter is always there and it goes on and on. A civilized IPA.
