Belhaven Twisted Thistle IPA (USA) (Bottle)

Bottle from Bevmo. Pours a hazy copper with a thin off white head. Aroma is spicy and a bit skunky, really not alot there. Flavor is bitter, citrusy, and spicy, but with a good dose of grainy malt. Bitter finish. Medium bodied, medium carbonation.

Aroma:good hopy nose,grapefruit... Appearance:Clear amber good head.. Flavor:sweet grapefruit hops,flavor...sweet nice...

aroma of fruit, butter, and grass; tiny floaties--otherwise average body with average white head, but with practically no lacing; overall flavor of earthy and metallic water with some fruit notes; it feels too spritzy; it’s okay.

Little aroma alcohol, coffee, cereal, clear, amber, aminimal head, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, - less flavor than expected - kind of thinfizzy, light body, thin feel,

This poured an orange color with a moderate white head. The aroma contains pine, grapefruit, and oranges. The flavor is rather hoppy with more grapefruits, orange, and a slight malt presence. This probably walks the line between APA and IPA but still a nice beer.

On tap in bar. Clear golden amber with small frothy head. Average hoppyness in aroma and falvour. Light hoppy sort finish.

Aroma of cinnamon Red Hots (remember those?) and wood. Palate lite and rather boring. finish short. Not horrible though. More hops please?

On tap at International Beer Garten (Tampa, FL). Pours a generally clear dark orange to amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with light notes of citrus, grapefruit, pine, floral hops, some light caramel and honey. Flavor is also sweet and floral with notes of caramel, malt, pine, light notes of citrus, grapefruit, floral hops. Generally light to medium body with a pleasing floral hop finish. Decent IPA.
