| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 7, 2006 Pours a murky light brown with a cream colored head; almost looks like a something from the sewer. The aroma screams of peat malt and earthy hops. The flavor is much in line with the aroma. Some citrus hop flavor comes through. This is a good twist to the typical IPA. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 7, 2006 Golden with a disappearing white head. Floral aroma with a hint of soap. Lack bitterness for an IPA. tommy8768 (120), Litlle Compton, Rhode Island, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | May 6, 2006 Pours an orangey color. The head dissolves quickly. Tastes of peat, smoke and cascade hops. Dry finish. Ok tasting but not exactly my favorite IPA. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 30, 2006 500ml bottle. Poured murky orange into an imperial pint with a large, rapidly-diminishing fizzy offwhite head. The beer looks very fizzy, almost soda-like. Some unappetizing flotsam floating around despite no yeast on the bottom of the bottle. Very little aroma, maybe a hint of cintrus and malty sweetness. Flavor is indistinct bitter hops (vaguely resinous) and, bizarrely, smoke. Doesn’t really taste anything like an IPA. Very dry finish with more smoke. Medium body, watery and overcarbonated. This is the worst bottle of beer I have ever paid more than $3 for. unixweb (237), Sherman, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 29, 2006 Updated: Apr 30, 2006The brew pours almost orange in color with a white head, some lacing, both of which disappear pretty quickly. The aroma is typical IPA, hoppy and citrusy with a little grass thrown in just because. Actually the aroma reminds me of Purina dog chow, but that’s beside the point. The taste is bitter, much like the white part of a grapefruit, but this one is a bit sweeter than some. The body is medium, not watery or thin, and it finishes clean and sweet with not as much lingering bitterness as I expected, possibly due to the high carbonation. Overall, I like this one. It’s different from the IPAs from Stone or Full Sail, but it’s a good example of a European IPA! Nice summer brew! mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2006 Pretty good English style IPA. Moderate bitterness. A bit more sweetness than I expected, especially in the finish. Strangeely harsh and sharp carbonation in the finish. Nice full body and rich mouthfeel. mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 26, 2006 Quite a big hop aroma with maybe a bit of orange and lemon. Burnt amber colour with very little head. Taste is a simple but immidiate strong bitterness. Has a very short aftertaste but decent texture.
