Commercial Description:
Bottle: Pastuerised.
A refreshing example of an India Pale Ale from the master brewers at Belhaven. The blend of Cascade and Challenger hops combine to produce an abundance of fresh hop aroma that preludes a bitter-dry taste explosion. Crafted from nearly three centuries of brewing heritage at Scotland’s oldest independent brewery, this ale from Belhaven will have your taste buds tingling.

Sampled on draft at Piper’s Pub in Pittsburgh PA this beer poured an orange color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet grapefruity and flowery hops. The flavor is strong fruity hops with moderate floral hops following. The flavor is dryer than the aroma would suggest. There is a noticeable smoky character to the finish.

<!-- b -->[Bottle - Liquid Solutions]<!-- b/ --><!-- br --> Strong hoppy aroms with a nice clean clear color with a strong white head. Has some floral and fruity notes in the flavor along with a large but not huge hoppy flavor. A clean, crisp beer. This was very drinkable and was not over the top. Good Beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a decent sized off white head that lingers. Aroma is floral hops, citrus. Flavor is floral hops, malt, some crisp citrus notes. Palate is medium light, medium carbonation, bitter finish. Rather surprised, in a good way, with this one.

Bottle Pours a hazy golden with a big white head. The head seems to last a little. Has a nice hoppy citrus aroma with touches of pine, and sweet malts. Has a very crisp taste. Good carbination, good mothfeel . Has a nice bite to it and a good finish. This is a very tasty IPA. Has a medium body and is blended pretty good but produces a nice kick. I really enjoyed this one.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep) Amber colour with off-white head. Fruity nose with citrus (grapefruit, orange) and notes of nuts and fudge. Fruity taste with distinct flavours of citrussy hops and notes of grapefruit and oranges. More American than Scottish in style. Very nice.

Bottled. Pours an almost clear copper with a lacy off-white head. Citrus, toffee, fruit and flowers in the nose. Medium body and carbonation. The taste is lightly sweet with the same elements as the aroma. Dry grapefruit rind finish, with a piney aftertaste. Middle-of-the-road bitterness for an IPA.
