COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Pasteurised. Has been seen on draught.
A refreshing example of an India Pale Ale from the master brewers at Belhaven. The blend of Cascade and Challenger hops combine to produce an abundance of fresh hop aroma that preludes a bitter-dry taste explosion. Crafted from nearly three centuries of brewing heritage at Scotland’s oldest independent brewery, this ale from Belhaven will have your taste buds tingling.

Serving: from tap at Doyle’s Public House. Aroma: couldn’t detect anything. Appearance: small, rocky, white, initial head with good lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, flat, dark-yellow body. Taste: lightly sweet and moderately hoppy initial flavor and lightly bitter and nutty finish with average duration. Palate: medium body and soft carbonation. Overall: very good. Hoppy but sweet. Look forward to drinking this again.

This is a horrendously bad beer. It reminds me of gluten free beer with the acrid taste it leaves in your mouth. Bought a 6 pack... made everyone try it... poured it out

Bottle. Pours clear pale amber with medium white head. Aroma is mandarin, spruce, malt, dried rose leaves and lemon. Taste is medium sweet, medium to very bitter and light to medium acidic. Body is creamy with lively carbonation. Finish is long and mostly bitter with notes of orange, lemon, lime, spruce, malt, caramel, sugar and hints of milk.

On tap at Berry Park, golden honey color, small head. Aroma is hoppy citrus, mostly lemon and orange. Flavor is malt forward for an ipa. English ipa for sure. Bitter finish. Good for an English ipa.

Draft at Khyber Pass Pub in Philly. 6.2% ABV. Mostly clear rich gold pour. Started with 2 fingers of white foam. Left a smattering of lace. Aroma of juicy toasted wheat. Orange peels. Light blonde caramel. Shortbread. Dandelions. Passionfruit. Mango skin. Touch of pineapple rind. Medium body. Floral and herbal with a nice honey sweetness. Slight plastic notes in the finish. Good enough for a session beer, but not complicated enough to dwell on.

11.2 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear, copper in color, nice white head and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit and hops. Taste is actually not bad, malts, fruit and some nice bitter and hoppy finish. Easy to drink.

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours slightly cloudy gold, one finger off white head, some lacing and some retention. Aroma of light citrus and pine. Taste is light bitter, moderately bready sweet. Light bodied, highly carbonated, thin metallic mouth feel. Finishes astringent. Tasting notes of caramel, bread, bitter herbs, yeast and salt. Not all that great.

Grapefruit, earthy, spicy hop aroma. Appearance is a crystal clear gold with a small white head that quickly went away. Flavor is blend of grapefruit, fruity and spicy hop flavors. Malt flavor has notes of biscuit and caramel. Mouthfeel is medium with medium carbonation. Overall, it's a decent British ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
