lovable roasted ale: I want more. though still not sure from where I want my beer as with whisky it has to be from scotland. KimJohansen (6678), Copenhagen V, Denmark Mar 30, 2008 Dark brown with medium off white head. Aroma has roasted malt and caramel notes. Sweet fruity flavor with berries, roasted malt, chocolate and caramel notes. darkguardian (506), Florida, USA Mar 30, 2008 Probably one of my favorite beers, though its a bit strong for a session beer I could drink this all day and never tire of it. 16oz bottle poured into a guiness glass. Medium size off white head and a burnished brown color. Smells of caramel and chocolate with a light floral hop note and some smoke. Taste is very big. This a big rich beer with a huge malt presence and really tasty notes of chocolate, coffee and caramel. There is a very very light hop bitterness on the backend but its very small even smaller than in their scottish ale and then a bready back end with a long long caramel finish. Awesome! saxo (3516), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Mar 30, 2008 Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is brown.
