I liked this beer. Nice brown color with a decent head on it. Malty aroma has some dried fruits in there with a tad bit of peat/smoke. Sticky and medium bodied. Sweet and malty in the taste.

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Pours with a large, light brown, frothy head that turns into a ring around the glass after about two minutes. Good Lacing. Dark amber body. Aroma is of malts and dried fruits. Taste is a nice rich maltiness with a bit of toasted coffee beans and some alcohol. Watery mouthfeel with some light carbonation.

On tap at Duke of Perth - Chicago IL (Oakdale and Clark St). Light head, nice dark brown/amber color. Taste is sweet and malty with chocolate and caramel tones. Rich and full bodied but not thick or heavy. I have had it both bottled (Binnys Chicago) and on tap and while it is still very good in the bottle, it is phenomenal on tap.

Bottle. Malty aroma of chocolate and fresh fruit. Darkish copper and nice light head. Wonderful toffee and roasted malt taste has some smoke, fruits and nuts. Enjoyable undertone of some zesty hops. Sweet, but not annoyingly so. Almost full body.

Avery nice brew. Pours amber with a thick malty aroma. A thin lacey head. A very well crafted beer best served at room temperature.

Pours a wee heavy. LOL, an true organic amber color (no red tint, fortunately, very nice). 50% off-white/tan head. Looks liknda like root beer, very nice. Smells like dark roasted malts despite having a lighter color. The foam head last long. The flavor is great for a malt. It has a bit of everything. Roasted malt, a little pecan, semi-sweet, some chocolate; it’s a good beer, only if you’re waiting for dinner. Only problem, it’s got too much sugar, toom much sweetness, and retains too much flavor from the copper lined steel kettle it was unfortunately brewed in.
