A 500ml bottle participated at a drinking session Tromsø. Noisy off-white foam over a nice mahogany coloured body. Promising aroma of brittle caramel. Dark and a bit sharp caramel to the fore turning into a good share of bitter dark malts. Roasty undertones. A tasty beer with medium palate (18.04.2007).

Bottle. 1 Pint .9 fl. oz. Dark reddish-brown color with average head. Malty, dried fruit aroma. Nice mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, then a slightly sour finish.

500 ml bottle - Pours amber with a two finger head. The malt aroma has a touch of dark fruit. Sweet roast malts and a touch of fruit lead the flavor as well. It’s a little watery. Let it warm up and the flavor will improve.

Bottle 0,5l. Dark brown coloured. Aroma of raisins. Sweet fruity flavor. A lasting aftertaste where grass dominates. This one would have been an OK Christmas Beer.

This beer calls itself “Wee Heavy” which it ain’t. But it is a good beer. A fruity nutty malty beer with a nice color, aroma and palate. Tastes of chocolate and spices. Quite enjoyable for an English Strong Ale,

pours clear dark amber with a light brown head. Aroma is malty, cookies and carmel and lightly yeasty. Flavor starts on the sweet side, carmel, and finishes more bitter, dry and short. Medium to light bodied livley Co2, watery and dry in the finish.

Pours brown with a tan head. Toffee/vanilla sweet aroma. Flavor is sweet: molasses, fruit, caramel and roasted malt, balanced with some bitterness and a nice wood/peat note.
