Bottle. Clear auburn, medium beige head. Malty, toffeish aroma with dark fruits and apricots. Slightly roasted. Some earthy hops. Medium to heavy bodied, silky mouthfeel with some prickling carbonation. Sweet flavour, some alcohol warmth, but a moderate bitterness balances this beer well.

Sweet malty aroma. Dark caramel cola color with foamy tan head. Good roasted malty flavor, slight bitterness, caramelized sweetness. Light creamy palate with short duration on a bitter finish. Good.

Thanks Chuck. The beer pours to a rusty orange body with a creamy khaki head. The aroma is peat roasted barley, light sweet powdered sugar, nice chocolate malt. The palate is sweet, moderately velvety, creamy and peaty. I like it.

Clear medium-hued coppery brown, soapy, off-white head. English mineral water, some chocolatey figs and peat, hoppy mineral spirit type of alcohol thing. Well-rounded creamy brown-ale-like taste, with some chocolatey peat/smoke helping to "fullify" the body. Really good taste, balance, mouthfeel.

deep earthy brown tones w/ tiny hints of red and lots of visable carbonation a dense off tan head made up of tiny bubbles w/ a thick head. Nice well roasted aroma very sweet hints of chocolate and lots of carmels some definate dark fruits and I’d almost wager a hint of peat. Full palate lightly creamy and well coated. Sweet flavor chocolate over plums backing w/ some carmel. Light almost wood notes coming through, well roasted, very malty and a nice beer to drink.

Bottle. Pours brown with a thin tan head. Sweet aroma of chocolate and fruit with a light roast. The complex flavor is also sweet with chocolate, caramel, fruits, and a wood/roasty background. Medium to full body. Nice sipper after a long day.
