A great example of a scotish ale. Not quite as smoky as others but a nice deep maltly flavor with a bit of hops finish. A better than avg beer, but not worth the local price.

On tap at Mahars. Poured dark brown, no head at all. Aroma is very yeasty and sweet. Flavor also very sweet, but tasty all the same. It’s very much like a weak barley wine.
