Nice malt character, but very phenolic and slightly acrid, like smoked band-aids. Somehow, it got a little better at room temperature, but i still couldn’t finish it. Maybe with food it would have been better.

Ruby amber in colour. Aroma of caramel and toffee, not a lot of hop aroma evident which is true to the style. Mouthfeel is slick and full, lovely malt flavours with a clean bitterness.

Clear reddish brown pour with a thin white head. Tons of skunk, caramel, and toffee that borders on butter. Not good at all.

bottle - clear brownish beer with a beige head. Nice malty aroma with some caramel and toffee. Flavour has lots of caramel and malt. High alcohol is hidden by a massive maltiness. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation.

British Store, Budapest.

Scent of roasted malt and sour caramel. Soft and slightly sweet malty caramel flavor with hints of alcohol. I find it nice, to sit and sip on this beer, even thought that this is not really my type of beer! Not bad!

50cl bottle. Reddish colour with minimal off-white head. Aroma is sweet and caramel, with hints of toasted malts. Flavour is alcoholic, sweet, fruity with a sweet long final in the aftertaste. Carbonation is medium-high, body is full, texture is oily.

The beer in the glass is bright reddish brown, with good, fine and brown head. It smells a lot like honey, herb-like, some slight hops come through. Starts very honey-sweet, with lots sweet malts and some grain, with a slight hint of hops. It’s overall well-balanced. The finish shows a little hoppy, again with a lot of honey and herbs.
