Całkiem całkiem. Aromat wyrazisty, aczkolwiek trochę dziwny i nie dla każdego przyjemny. Z wyglądu szału nie ma, a w smaku jest słodkie. Goryczka delikatną, ale zalegająca.

A moderate amount of malt sweetness on the aroma with light notes of fruitless. A crystal clear dark Amber appearance with an offwhite head with below average head retention. Flavor is malt forward with notes of biscuit, toast and dark caramel. Fruity esters are moderately high. Finish is dry. Mouthfeel is medium with medium carbonation. Overall, it's labeled as a wee heavy and a 90 schilling, but it's definitely not a wee heavy. It's a 90 schilling. It also has a little too much toast flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Toffee malty aroma. No hops on the nose. Appearance is a deep amber with a long lasting white head. Crystal clear. Flavor is heavy on kettle caramelized toffee notes. No hop flavor or esters. Mouthfeel is smooth and full with medium a carbonation. Overall, a classic wee heavy, but the malt flavor is one dimensional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a review of Belhaven 90/~ Wee Heavy - a different formulation with 7.4% ABV. 330ml bottle pours deep red-amber with a durable and creamy tan head. Fine looking but the aroma is a bit disappointing with too much alcohol evident and bearing more resemblance to a dopplebock than it should. The flavor veers in that direction too, rather than favoring smoky or peaty malts. Lots of toffee and brown sugar here.

Bottle. Dark tea-like color with beige fluffy head. Aroma is mostly malty, with notes of dry fruits. Taste is sweet and maybe a bit noisy, also some notes of coffee. Aftertaste with long and good bitterness. Interesting beer.

Picked up at the COOP last week... Most of the bottleshops in Boise are also carrying it now. Enjoyed out of my FW goblet. Thin 1/2" tan head.. only okay retention and no real lacing.. the brew is clear deep walnut. Thick maltiness, deep caramel, subtle dark fruits seem a little out of place.. pretty complex. Rich malt without ever verging on sweet, dark toast, nutty brown malt.. honestly tastes "brown". The body and carbonation are spot on.. Pretty damn good... I love a well made Wee Heavy and this is nearly perfect.

Choć serii Belhavena, której nabyłem nie zaliczyłbym do udanej, ostatnia butelka okazała się całkiem dobra. Mocny trunek o miedzianym kolorze i dość sporej jasnej pianie wyglądał bardzo elegancko. Nieco owocowy i słodowy zapach, trochę karmelu...

Klarowne, barwa ciemnomiedziana. W smaku karmelowe, słodkie. Nieco przypomina piwa świąteczne. Wysycenie niskie, podobnie jak goryczka. Bardzo pijalne, alkohol niewyczuwalny. Ogólnie dobre, ciekawe piwo, można jednak powiedzieć, że nieco "nudne".

330 ml bottle. 7.4% ABV. Deep mahogany brown color. Rocky beige head. Caramel malt nose has hints of dark fruit and toffee. Toasted malt flavor is smooth and buttery with toffee notes. Figs and brown sugar come to mind. Soft creamy mouthfeel. Well rounded and flavorful.
