This brewery does itself a real disservice by putting the beer in clear bottles as this one skunked out. From what I could tell there was a sweet malty aroma laying beneath. The color was amber with a white foamy head. The taste was more sweet caramelized malts with a burnt sugar tinge on the back end. I can always detect the alcohol with this style even when it’s as low as this one. I’m sure this would have been better had it not skunked; however, it still seemed average for the style.

Kurze Review von Untappd: Like the label says: fruity, sweet and strong. Could be more mouthfilling, and the end is quite short! Still a solid beer.

Bottle from Seiyu. Fruity nose, with sourish and near-pungent prunes, cherries, and stone fruit. Dark reddish-brown color, tan head. Sweet and malty, light roast, and some caramel and butterscotch. Thin-medium body. Very good balance. This would be wonderful from the cask. Pretty good as it is. The flavors really push.

0,33l bottle. Looks dark brown with a beautiful red shade. Nice clear appearance and sweet malty aromas on the nose. Strong caramel in taste. Lots of malty sweetness which finishes up with a mild warming alcohol touch. Hops feel grassy and rather sweet too. All flavors enhance when it sits in the glass and more alcohol comes in. Which actually is very nice in this case. All-in-all a great beer if you have patience to let it warm up.

Bottle. Nice fruity and sweet aroma, taste reminescent of somewhat sour dark fruit with bitter back end.

Bottle from Seiyu for pretty cheap. Pours a clear dark brown with a small beige head that dissipates fairly quickly. Chocolate fudge on the nose immediately with some fruit, caramel and lightly toasted toffee with a hint of booze. Taste is sweet, with some light bitterness on the finish. Some espresso and roasted malt in there as well as a touch of leather. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from Alko. Poured dark mahogany with a thin off white head. Toffeeish malty aroma, some dark fruits, sweetness. Flavor has toffee, biscuits, caramel and raisins. Warming, sweet but good drinkability. Pleasant.

Bottle from Seiyu. Rich, very rich malt nose, chocolate fudge, caramel, raisin, touch of smoke, bit of mineral and more dried fruit. Dark brown with orange, clear, thick lace. Super rich, luscious malt flavor, lots of treacle, raisins, dried plum. Earthy, bitter finish. Full body. Good stuff. Especially for the price.
