Red/brown colour. Decent head that disappeared quickly. Fruity aroma, caramel, malt, and maybe raspberriy.. I get hints of smoke as well.
Very sweet taste, malty and kinda sugary. Light bitterness.
Commercial description says "a beer too be sipped" but it’s way too drinkable!

Bottle, 7.4%. Appearance is dark ruby, a half-finger beige head which lingers. Aroma- rich fruitcake, port, plenty of dark fruit, treacle, marzipan. Taste- cherry, sugary sweetness, raisin, boozy Christmas cake, sticky and syrupy, sweet marzipan. Wee heavy indeed.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was poured into a thistle glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy dark amber to brown color with a slim finger’s worth of foamy white head. Light lacing sticks and then slides.
The smell had a nice blend of sweet and roasty English malts with a decent subdued caramel malts. A light meaty to somewhat peaty sweetness invades nicely.
The taste was mainly the same - sweet meaty to peaty awesomeness rolling over my tongue in the flavor department. There’s a light sweet meaty aftertaste leading to a sweet wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and decent for the style. Actually, a super nice sweet smoothness rolls over my tongue.
Overall, this is good as a Wee Heavy/Scotch Ale. I dig this. I’d have it again.

Bouteile de 33cl - Titre à 7,4%. Couleur marron rougeoyant, assez peu de mousse mais conserve une petite collerette. De jolis arômes de caramel, un peu de fruits trop mûrs, compensé par des notes de fruits à coques. Carbonnation moyenne. Trouvée à Auchan - Noyelles Godault.
