Pours a clear reddish dark amber with a one inch creamy off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is rich, fruity, and nutty. Taste is sweet and fruity with caramel and brown sugar. Very nice.

Has a noticeable wheaty taste, so like soggy bread. But I did like it even though I’m not usually a fan of that sort of thing. I would drink it again!

bartlebier (1760) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - SEP 25, 2014
33cl bottle from 5e Mondial de la Bière, Mulhouse (labeled strength 7,4%). Slightly syrupy tawny-brown pour, decent off-white head. Contained in aroma, some old prune marmelade and a restrained maltiness maybe. More prune marmelade, caramelised pineapple in taste, without much extras added by the yeast profile, late cleansing hops, semi-dry. Lcklustre peat in the finish, leaving an overall imprssion of a mediocre effort. Decent, quaffable enough, without offering quite the whole payoff for its Abv.

stxoil (24) - Texas, USA - SEP 18, 2014
Pours a dark brown with a thin, off-whte head. Not much on the aroma. Taste is dominated by roasted malts. It has a deep and complex taste profile. Body is thich, almost syrupy. Carbonation is very low. This is a very enjoyable beer, but I suspect my bottle was old due to lack of head and carbonation.

CanCrusher (643) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - SEP 10, 2014
Bottle 0,33L. I was linked there, but actually have the beer with the same name, but 7,4% ABV. Clear, amber colour with small, frothy, light brown head, that dissipate fast. Gentle dried fruits aroma with some caramel and almond. Taste is mixture of sweet fruits and bitter hops, combined with dark fruits. Medium to full body, oily texture and soft carbonation. Alcohol is very well hidden behind this fruity taste. Very good beer.

TH28 (111) - - JUL 25, 2014
Appearance is deep ruby red, with a small off white foam cap. Aroma is rich toasted malt, a little smoky, and some butteriness (diacetyl). Taste is rich caramel and toasted malt, toffee, and buttery. Only a slight bit of alcohol warmth. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, with a nice creamy viscosity and low to moderate carbonation. Finishes with a tangy, lingering crystal malt flavor on the tongue

danielyabu (1185) - União da Vitória, BRAZIL - JUL 14, 2014
average creamy offwhite head. fair lacing. mostly diminishing. translucent thick ruby body. aroma: heavy malt, dark bread, caramel, coke. if: moderate sweet. ff: moderate sweet light acidic bitter; long duration. palate: medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation, light astringent alcoholic finish. 90 s
