This is a damn good beer. Frothy copper. Very well balanced. Tons of flavor for 6.5% alcohol. Toffee, sour fruit, moderately bitter hops, and spicy clove-like flavors.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 17C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: predominant malt aroma with medium-high notes of caramel and a slight touch of diacetyl with a butterscotch character. APPEARANCE: dark ambar color with ruby body against light. moderate and moussy tanned head with medium-low retention. TASTE: rich malty flavor with a strong caramel presence and a slight roasted malt note with a smoked character. low bitterness with a sweet palate but with a semi-dry finish. PALATE: medium body with a very faint alcohol presence. OVERALL: a nice and tradicional Wee Heavy with a less body.

Dark, burgundy coloured body with some tan lacing. Promising aroma, malts, cherries, grapes with a bit of syrupy sweetness. Intense taste, malty, some yeast, a bit sour. Slick and somewhat tingly mouthfeel, slight carbonation. Big beer with very rich overall feel to it.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.
