Clear copper coloured beer with smallish head on top. Aroma has dried fruits and roasted aromas. A bit mild aroma. Taste is a whole lot better. There is chocolate, roasted flavours, caramel and syrup with some dried fruits. Body is medium and the carbonation is quite high.

Bouteile de 33cl - Titre à 7,4%. Couleur marron rougeoyant, assez peu de mousse mais conserve une petite collerette. De jolis arômes de caramel, un peu de fruits trop mûrs, compensé par des notes de fruits à coques. Carbonnation moyenne. Trouvée à Auchan - Noyelles Godault.

DarkSong (295) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - NOV 15, 2014
It pours a dark brownish red with a medium sized, quickly fading off white head. It has a skunky aroma and the aroma of malt and a little smoke. This beer is wonderful. I taste a lot of malt, smoke, tea, toast and toffee. This is a great beer to sip slowly on a cold night.

Couleur ambrée, légère mousse beige. Super nez caramel mou, sucre candy. Gout caramel brulé, fruits noirs, notes chocolat. Corps presque cremeux, longue fin de bouche avec tout les aromes....

"bigger than the 6.5% implies...this one IS a scottish classic. perfect fit to the style. I like 7-9% scotch ales, but this one is pretty stinkin’ good!"
