1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 wimpie133 (380) - Brugge, BELGIUM - AUG 17, 2009
Bottle, clear golden colour, not bubbling very well, ony small white head that doesn’t last. Light grainy and malty aroma, not very strong however. The taste is light grainy and finished watery. It’s better than Heineken, but there it stops. Very refreshing however.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 WesKBob (563) - Bethany, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 27, 2009
Pours a pale yellow with thin white head. Aroma is slightly skunky with some sweet malts and light hops. Fortunately the flavor doesn’t have any skunk presence. Sweet malts and just a bit of spice. Your typical lager from the region. Good if you’ve been out seeing the sights on a hot day in Belize, but it’s not going to make many top ten lists.

I had several of these while on vacation in Belize. Typical central american lager. Golden, straw, grass, minimal hops, watery. Refreshing for the climate but nothing special.
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 TheKeg (23) - Louisiana, USA - JAN 9, 2009
I had this from the bottle in Costa Maya. I didn’t have a glass to pour it into so I had to rate the aroma and appearance middle of the road as I could not see or smell much of it. That being said, I’m not sure why this beer is so lowly rated I rather enjoyed it. I wish we could get this in the states.

Another one of those warm weather beers that you try once while there then order something better.

Pours a very pale yellow - not much to the aroma or taste.. some grain, a little hops, malt and MAYBE some citrus. But you know what? Even as bland as this beer was and expensive as it was it tasted pretty damned good while sitting on the beach all week long in Ambergris Caye Belize.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear gold color with a small white head. Great island beer. Nothing special about it, but very refreshing in the right circumstance.

Pours a clear golden, with a finger sized white head. Taste is pleasently grainy and very freshing. soft sweet character, semi dry and clean on the palate.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ibrew2or3 (5761) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - AUG 3, 2008
Courtesy of fishingnet and as seen on Three Sheets, that’s good Belikin. Pours clear pale gold with weak white head. The aroma is sweet, cereal and corn with a faint note of floral hops that is just noticeable. The taste is thin and mildly refreshing with grains notes to go along with cereal and corn. Into the finish a mild floral hop note rises up and says, “here I am.” This brew’s lack of hops makes it immune to the current hop shortage.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 fishingnet (1047) - Brandon, Florida, USA - JUL 27, 2008
Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of corn, light pilsner malt, and light floral hops. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium thin mouthfeel with a very mild amount of bitterness. Good.
