COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lighthouse Lager is the youngest member of Belize Brewing’s beer family. It has a soft golden color with a more floral aroma. It is brewed with the finest Canadian Pilsner malt and an expertly chosen combination of German hops that delivers its refined subtle aroma. Only the freshest yeast is chosen for this delicate beer, slightly more dry but with a noble hop aroma and flavor. Crisp and refreshing, it can be enjoyed any time of day. In terms of color, taste and alcohol content Lighthouse is lighter than the other existing beers in the portfolio.

Light beer that brings not a thing to the table. Looks and taste like any other light beer that I hate to drink.

Small bottle purchased solely for the new country tick (Belize). This was skunky, even for a low grade, adjunct filled Caribbean lager. The Tang flavored rum punch from the cave tubing company was better than this. Much better.

Bottle (237 ml) on Cave Tubing excursion. Skunky, light, grainy and other than the skunk, not a lot of flavor. Not the highlight of the trip. Back to rum punch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, brought to me by Trevor-- thanks buddy! Tiny green bottle with a rusty cap. Medium golden, white head that rapidly fades. Big skunk, whoa! Corny pale malts and slinky hops, thin. As expected.

courtesy of Lukas Flückiger - bright and translucid golden beer with a poor head retention; aroma of cardboard; thin-bodied, tart, astringent, raw and short papery finish - fairly bad

Quite possibly the first and only 237ml bottle I’ll ever have. Shared @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, courtesy of Gene! Many thanks. Pours clear gold with small foam head. Unsurprisingly unremarkable, but also not that bad either. It’s a straightforward lager with moderate bitterness.

Cheers Gene for this new country tick: 237cl bottle between 5 of us at the December 2015 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting. Just enough in my glass to see it was golden with a wispy head. Light/weak floral nose, bland in the taste, refreshing on a sunny beach or the jungle, but not a great beer for a windy, wet and cold December night in Shropshire: scored objectively.

Bottle 0,237 ltr: Very clear golden colored brew with an dryish some how bitter taste, grassy smell like the German Beck’s and some dull grainy hints. But this beer and another one from Belize is giving to me by an collague of me. So one tick from Belize.

Butelka, dzięki Lechu. Aromat trawy i lekko słodu, smak wodnisty, lekko słodowy, bardzo jasno słomkowy kolor, bez rewelacji ale do wypicia.

Bottle (think Little Kings size) pour in San Pedro Belize, typical fizzy light yellow. Nose minimal skunk, compared to lots of Caribbean beers, more crystal malt and adjunct. Taste nothing to speak of, only remarkable for less funk than lots.

[Bottle (237ml)] What an odd little bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a small diminishing frothy white head. Aroma: We aren’t off to a great start, it’s skunky, but thankfully it diminishes leaving light grassy hops, pale malt, light vegetal notes, dough and of course, corn. Flavour is sweet and grainy along with light grassy hops. Flavour’s slightly watery but not skunky at least. Average bodied. Another poor mainstream Lager of the world.
