2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drank this in Belize on 11/26. This beer actually surprised me. It had a nutty smell with caramel smells. The taste was fairly decent with a good combination of malts and a sweet taste on the way down.

Several bottles consumed at Turtle Inn. Dark brown pour with an off white head. Sweet malty aromas. Medium colored roasted malts dominate the palate with muted chocolate and hints of expresso. Actually a very good and easy drinking stout for the Caribbean....

For such a country not fully developed, it definitely makes damn good beers.

Bang for your buck this is what to drink in Belize. Pour is very dark but thin with a medium head. Flavor is good but light so still ok on a hot day.

Reasonable attempt at a stout from Caribbean company. Smooth malt, mild roast. Not offensive. Very drinkable for a "destination" beer

Having a few on vacation in Belize. Pours a dark brown with a small, creamy tan head. Aroma of coffee grounds and a little brown sugar. Taste is also heavy on coffee, with a little sweetness to balance. Perfectly fine stout, and a good change from the usual lager-heavy Caribbean fare.

12 ounce bottle poured in a plastic cup while waiting to get back on the tender for the cruise, poured a dark blackish color with aromas of roast, coffee, and booze. Flavors followed suit, I couldn’t savor it due to time, but a decent offering for the $2.50 price tag.

Bottle in Ervas restaurant in San Ignacio, Belize. More of a dark ale than a stout. Strong taste of treacle and alcohol. Quite thick texture that sicks to the tongue.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Shell One Stop, Orange Walk Town. It pours dark brown, with a thin light brown head. The nose is caramel, roasted malt, coffee and some alcohol. The taste is roasted malt, bitter coffee, burnt rubber, ash, underlying caramel, metal and a touch of alcohol warmth, with a decent bitter-dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Not bad, much better than the other Belizean pale lagers anyway!

Dark and a good tan head. Bitter roasted malt with some maply sweetness but mostly dominated by the bitterness. It starts off with a shape carbonated punch. The taste is satisfying malty bitter. Good stuff. Its kicking ass at this little bar somewhere in Belize.
