3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Still in Belize, and not a whole lot of variety- that’s ok this beer i can have many of. Pours a dark brownish black colour with a small tan head. Slightly nutty but for the most part just a little darker then the regular PL. Satisfying, rich and does the trick.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
from a bottle in at a bar in Belize City. very nice dark color. A welcome respite from the drek normally served in this section of the world and on the cruise ship we were on. aroma much like a guinness, but is quite a bit thinner in keeping with the tropical climate. A definite flavorful beer for drinking a lot of in the intense sun of Belize.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Smells roasty woth touches of earthy hints. Tastes a bit vegetal and overly sweet with some roast character that doesn’t compliment the the rest of the beer enough. A decent attempt at the style.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
284 ml bottle. Pours almost black with medium tan head. Aroma is of light roast and hop. Taste is a little more bitter than expected with enough malt to balance it out nicely. Not a bad stout and I think it would be quite drinkable on a warm/hot day as well.

2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12-oz Bottle @ Toucan Daiquiri Bar & Grille, Belize City, Belize: The item I wanted to try the most on this vacation, a rare foreign stout. At least rare to us in Canada! Poured dark brown, a little bit of tan head. Aroma was absent and the flavour was very light and watery, but significantly bitter. I actually found myself a bit disappointed as I’d come to expect more, but it was still fun to try. Those of you heading down note it has the same bottle as the lager offering, you’ll need to check the cap.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Same bottle as the regular Belikin, with a different bottle cap. This stout has moderate flavors, but packed a bit of a punch at 6.8%. Roasted Coffee and malt flavors with a bit of sweetness. A decent beer.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours near black with reddish hues. Aroma of corn, grainy adjuncts, unclean fermentation, oxidized crystal malt. Taste is caramel and crystal malt, which tastes slightly grainy, oxidized and papery. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, slightly soapy, with moderate carbonation. Has potential, but falls short.
