Commercial Description:
Biere sur lie, ma robe ambrée, aux reflets rubis, née du mariage de cinq malts, cache un corps généreux. En Bouche, mes arômes de caramel et de café laissent place à une fine amertume. Sans additif ni conservateur.

Brewed by the La Lanterne brewer Bruno Husson for APBM.

Bottle 33cl. Courtesy of sunevdj. Pours a hazy and opaque brown with a beige head. Sweetish fruity nose with some roasted malt. Full-bodied, sweetish roasted malt - lightly burned even - and some nuttiness and burned caramel. hardly any bitterness. Appears more like a Brown Ale rather than a Bock. 150109

Bottle 33. Belios. [Thanks to sunevdj for sharing] Average fizzy off white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Dark amber color. Sweet fruit, light malty notes, caramel, nutty, almost chocolate like. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor, mild bitterness. Sweet malty finish.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of sunevdj. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is smooth roasted malty with a light caramel note. Sweet caramel flavoured, light wooden and with a mild smoke infection - sadly. Ends mild sweetend and light smoked. Dry into the far finish. Beer could have been nice without the infection.

Botella. Courtesy of sunevdj. Deep dark brown colour with a nice creamy foam. Sweet caramel aroma with well toasted malt and some chocolate. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with a very pleasant dark maltiness, caramel, chocolate and some bitterness. Tasty beer.

Pours a hazy brown with a beige head. Smells of bread and caramel. Qutie sweet with aromas of caramel and bread and toasted malts with coffee. Nice mellow hoppyness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Dry finish. I like the toasted malt flavors.
