1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bought at Tesco’s Cheetham Hill. Nose is slight honey. Appearance is insipid. Taste is very, very light slight malt, light corn, slight dry finish. It’s probably designed to be drunk very cold somewhere very hot, this does not apply to Manchester in September.

Can 50cl, traded with olliejobbins thanks ! A clear yellow beer with low head and retention. Nose is on dry grain and cereal touch. Aroma is on dry grain, watery body, dusty hops, corn sugar, nutty, boring. Finish is bitter, not that bad even if very basic.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle share at Cotteridge Wines, Uganda tick! Pale yellow, still, small white head. Aroma is crackers, musty and light. Body is medium, light carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste follows aroma, lightly biscuity and finishes with a soft bitterness. Average lager, but one of the best I had on the day!

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled, sampled at The Cotteridge Convention, many thanks to SarkyNortherner for this one. Gold with fizzed head. Sweet but thin malts, there is an odd mashy note to it, a touch of rotting flesh. Not good.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can thanks to allmyvinyl.
Appearance - pale lemon with a thin lacy head.
Nose - green beans and sweetcorn.
Taste - more of the same. Some metallic notes too.
Palate - light bodied with a thin texture and a dry finish.
Overall - I got some enjoyment out of this, unlike allmyvinyl.

500ml can from Beers of Europe. Pours straw gold, thin, short-lived white head. Aromas of stale green veg, corn, sweet sugar. Taste is astringent, light lemon. Could be worse.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from Casablanca Brasserie 241014. This beer reminds me a bit of Steinlager but maybe a bit better. Not much in the looks department however flavour wise it is not too bad. Certainly is drinkable and I imagine even more so under the hot Ugandan sun. Nice trail of white lacing left in the glass. Clean on the palate.
