2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 AlainG (242) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 18, 2012
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 worldbeertaste (615) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2012
Orange copper with a thin carbonated quick dissapearing light head. Hops and yeast smell. Thin light body. Yeast, and cardboard taste.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 swiseman (315) - Fredericton, New Brunswick, CANADA - OCT 29, 2011
pours a light amber color with thin, but long-lasting head - even some lacings on the glass. medium carbonation. aroma is somewhat metallic - fresh welding? medium body with some noticeable toasted malt. a faint hop bitterness. finish is quite smooth - turns into a fairly typical macro brew. Despite its name, would make a great summer session beer.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 HeistAlmighty (540) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - JUL 13, 2011
341ml bottle. It was slighty better than an average macro brew. C+ Had this a few years ago and it wasn’t memorable.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 czar (1205) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 4, 2011
pours med-dark golden, orange tint, with a small white head, good retention and lacing. some toasted and caramel malts, fruity, hint of sweetness, still a dry and short finish. light hopping (much more than expected) - herbal and slightly citrusy. slightly weak malt structure. average carbonation, light body. high drinkability. probably the best of the "regular" belle gueule line.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 cleverlobo (252) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 28, 2011
Bottle; clear golden with medium off-white head; aroma-caramel, orange and something floral; taste-mild sweetness and bitterness, moderate carbonation. Overall a decent lager with more hops than expected but still smooth.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 sseb69 (887) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 20, 2010
Bouteille 341 ml. 5.2%. Couleur ambrée pâle, mousse blanche-beige pâle. Arôme de malt et un peu de caramel. En bouche, des notes de malt, houblon et en finale une très légère amertume. Une des meilleure Belle-Gueule.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 17, 2010
This is probably the better Belle Gueule beer. I prefer Boréale brews over Belle Gueule, but when this one comes out for the winter season, I always like to have a few. Clean light amber-copper colour with a foamy head that dissipates quickly and leaves a little lacing. Nice grainy scent with some mild spices. Reminds me of rye cereal. The taste is pretty similar. What I really enjoy about this beer are the spices. Nothing too crazy like most Christmas beers, but just there to supe-up the taste of their regular brews.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 scaredypants (2) - USA - MAR 21, 2010 does not count
Has a nice robust aroma and presents well, but the overall taste is terribly thin.

Draft sample at a Poutine place on Old Montreal. Nice refreshing beer to go with lunch. Nothing special.
