COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A copper robe with a hint of gold. Mellow, with a refreshing bitterness, Belle Gueule Originale is bottom fermented and cold filtered… a lager of the highest distinction, brewed in the heart of Plateau Mont Royal.

Sample from a bottle. Clear gold pour with foamy white head. Aroma is honeyed, honey malt, light floral notes, dim. Taste is grainy, sweet, light honey. Palate is light bodied, watery. Meh.

Can. Pours amber with a thick head, Corn aroma. Bright flavor up front with a slight hop bite at the end. The flavor is not that good though. Some booziness mixed with some vegetable. I’ll get through it but won’t have another.

Just so slightly above what a "good" amber lager tastes like. -this comprises all that need to be said about the beer;sometimes 75 characters is way too much!

Pours a clear golden (almost copper) with a medium white head that gives out good lacing. Nose is of caramel, herbs and cereals. Taste is a little sweet, offers some malty flavors of cereals and a really light bitterness. Body is light to medium, carbonation high and prickly and mouthfeel oily. Overall an OK vienna, nothing to write home about though.

This one poured a light amber colour with a white, frothy head. Scents include corn and light malt. First swig was watery with flavours of corn and malt. Slightly sweet with a finish of meh?

Bottle 341ml. Pours very clear golden with low off-white head. Minimal lacing. Aroma is of grain, sugar, slight caramel. Not much to say. Taste is of grain, sugar, slight bitterness, faint citrus, hints of caramel. Again, not much more to say. Palate: Medium body. Almost sticky mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Overall: Grainy. Sugary. Poor balance. Leaves slight unpleasant aftertaste. Not too awfull, but far from a quality beer.

Blonde sans goût ni arôme particulier. Se boit bien, mais sans plus. Ressemble aux bières commerciales style grand public.

Bottle@Montreal. Golden color, white head. Malty flavor with some sweet notes. Fairly bitter finish. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not very appealing.
