I like it, alot. Pours a golden yellow just a hair on the side of orange. Small bubble 1/8 inch head that’s gone in a second, low level large bubble carbonation. Mouthfeel is silky, a little chewy and slightly oily. Taste is dominated by mild sweet malt, a little biscuity. Undertones of orange juice, a little nutty, and just a splash of spice. Aftertaste is a little rough, a little bit of skunky hop, and a tiny dry ginger finish. Nice example of a Vienna on the blond side. Cheers

Dark gold color. Nice head. Spicy taste. This beer offers a different experience compared to the macro product you fin anywhere. Not a bad beer, even a good beer I would say if your looking for something different at a very reasonnable price (even cheaper than the big breweries products here Labatt - Molson)

Very attractive colour for a lager – deep, deep gold, with a vermilion sunrise on the horizon. The smell of hops skip out of the glass, followed by typical lager notes of cereal, grass and sugar. A nice, dry palate is accented by a pleasant chalky texture. Quite refreshing to drink, with good bitterness, plus whole grain bread, a metallic note and some sweetness to balance things out. Skunky tap water lurks in the medium-long finish, plus those everpresent bitter hops. Not an absolute bomb of a lager, but pretty good for the style.

I started yesterday with this one. It was hot day and this one seemed to be prefect for it. It did its job well. Malty, slightly bitter, slightly all. I enjoyed this one not bad...

341 ml bottle. One very good lager beer. My higest rating for a lager beer. Nice gold color medium malt aroma. Small White head, lasting a couple seconds. For sure the best Belle Gueule made to date.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 AWS9 (353) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 3, 2010
Bottle. Decent hop content. Mild malt backing. Slight creamy caramel, some mild fruit. Pretty standard, but pulls it off well.
