Belle Gueule Pilsner is a unique blonde beer with a surprising touch of hops, brewed according to the tradtiion of the great Czeckoslovakian Pilsners. Its light, yet full-bodied taste is the result of a long unhurried fermentation.

Arome particulier avec goût unique européen. Bonne bière. Apparence jaune sans mousse désagréable.

This pils poured a clear yellow with a quick living, white head. Scents include light corn and malt. First swing was slightly watery with flavours of corn And malt with a little hop finish that is slightly bitter. Not the worst pils ever made.

Overall a good representative of its kind, smooth, gentle.

Some poutine place: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is grass, grain, a bit of hops, and some bread. Taste is sweet. Texture is a tad oily, which also lends itself to being more full-bodied. Was a good way to wash down poutine, but aside of that...

Pours a light golden with a medium white head that leaves really nice lacing. Nose is corn, honeyed cereals and hay. Taste is not super dry but still not really sweet. Flavors of cereals and that’s about it. A little metal in the finish. Body is medium, carbonation moderately high and texture oily. Overall: not a revelation.

On tap in Grinder, Montreal. Looks likeva lager. Some initial promise of a rich fruity hop but not uch delivery and malts a bit lacking crisp body. Better than most basic lagers but that’s not saying a lot.

Draft pour at Poutineville in Montreal. Crisp and light pils. Standard issue pils. Lemon and grain. Enjoyed it. Perfect with the poontang. I mean poutine

Bottle 341ml. Pours very clear blond with low-medium white head. Some lacing. Aroma is of grain, malt, sugar. Taste is of grain, malt, bitterness, sugar. Palate: Light-medium body. Medium carbonation. Overall: Not too bad, but nothing interesting here either. Kind of sweet, and not so clean nor crisp for a pilsner.
