COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belle Gueule Pilsner is a unique blonde beer with a surprising touch of hops, brewed according to the tradtiion of the great Czeckoslovakian Pilsners. Its light, yet full-bodied taste is the result of a long unhurried fermentation.

A very good pilsener. Sharp and dry, with good malt character and a decent hoppy bite in the finish. The only drawback is that it lacks any real charcter of it’s own to distinguish it from the hundreds of other "very good" pilseners. Worth a try if you see it.

Extremely drinkable pils. I was very surprised by this one. I am usually uniterested in Pilsners, but I tried this one simply for rating purposes and was pleasantly surprised. Nothing exciting, but very drinkable, and I would definitely drink again.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2006 Creamy grainy, malty body, enhanced by strong carbonation...Few malt flavors are evoked, and hops barely show up in the end...Definitely not of Czech tradition, as they proclaim...A good beer for those macro-swill drinkers who want to show they are not closed-minded…

Nothing spectacular, but a solid north american pilsner nonetheless. Thirst quenching without the usual macro nastiness I usually encounter with this style.
