COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the traditional beers of Bavaria, Belle Gueule Rousse blends velvety aromas and flavorful Munich malt. Cold fermentation and ageing result in a beer of distinction, smoothness and balance.

amber-red with thin copper head. strong aromas of malt, maybe some peat. medium mouthfeel. tastes like a "thick" macro lager without the smooth finish. reminds me of a Rickard’s Red or Clancy’s style beer (some darker malts used to give it more of a full flavour than the typical North American lager).

Originally rated July 2005. Bought this Belle Gueule 15 pack for an awesome price at Loblaws in Hull, Quebec. Under a buck a bottle... for over-par swill. Pours a golden-orange colour with a beautiful creamy head. Dissipates quick enough, but leaves a creamy coat on top. The lacing is also part of this... very thick and creamy all around. The small bubble carbonation is steady. Kind of sweet smelling with some hop bitterness. Notes of grain malt and roasted malt. The taste is of grainy malt with slight bitterness in the finish. More grainy in the aftertaste. Overall smooth, and medium creamy mouthfeel. The bitterness comes back in the long aftertaste. A very decent vienna.

Brown with a bubbly carbonated tan head. Smell of malt and hops. Light bitter start with a dry corn alcohol finish.Bitter roast, caramel. Not bad somewhere between a bitter and a lager.

Moderate munich malt aroma with light chocolate tosted notes. Low odor. Clear amber color with persistent head. Soft malted minuch like flavor, no hops but light fruity notes. Light vienna lager beer with interesting munich caracter, although it lakes personality and uk supporting hops.

Couleur de noyer, limpide, ample col beige, mais éphemère. Des arômes de pain, de céréales grillées, de caramel. Une note de pamplemousse. Amertûme timide et un peu sucrée. Bon corps onctueux sur une effervescence moyenne. Fin assez courte.

Aroma of fruits and hazelnuts. Bright brown body with decent head if poured aggressively, and when warm enough. Flavour is soft booth leather and cherries mixed with paint thinner. Dry finish. Really not bad for the style; reliable and has some twists, but it doesn’t stand out.

Bouteille 341 ml. 5.2%. Couleur ambrée claire. Arôme de céréales et de caramel. Goût de malt grillé, léger caramel et un peu de houblon. Finale très légère en amertume. Se boit bien.
