On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark brown with a thin white head. Aroma of roasted malt, sweet malt, lactose. Flavor is quite sweet, almost sickly, and I do get strawberry notes. Odd. It’s just way too sweet. 6/4/5/3/11 (2.9/5)

Dark copper pour, nice head, lots of lace. Woody alcohol aroma. Nice carb, strange strawberry soda flavor, with some weak chocolatey caramel. A little sour at the end. Forgettable and pretty weak.

Sampled on draft at Belle Isle. Pours clear brown with an ample off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is too clean - no yeast, malt or hops. Clean is better than bad, though! Flavor is clean and balanced with toasted malt dominating the profile. Medium-light body and moderately carbonated. Drinkable, but too simple.
