81.85/5.02/5.0-0 English pint, Shaker P  Stats

Commercial Description:
Our all-American blonde is light bodied yet full flavor. Dry maltiness, subtle hop character, and a hint yield a fresh, satisfying taste for the most discriminating palette. Pale and Carapil malts, a three stage hopping utilizing only the finest Czechoslovakian Saaz hops, and mounds of pure honey in the brew kettle combine to produce an unforgettable experience.

Had it on tap at Belle Isle Brewery in OKC. Pretty lousy. Not the dumbest blond in the world, but ditzy nonetheless. Skunky smell. Metallic and watery. Try their others first.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear straw color. The white head leaves a nice lacing on the pint glass. Has a grainy, yeasty smell. Light bodied with a lively mouthfeel. Taste is of sweet malt grains, very refreshing. Finishes with a nice grainy tasting burp. A lightly flavored brew as you’d expect from a blond, but for $1.75 a pint I’d drink this all day long vs. any mega-brewer offerings. Aug 2003

Draft at the brewpub: poured light yellow with a smallish white head. Light aroma of grapes, apples, with a smattering of hops. Flavors perk up as the beer warms which also reveals the fruitiness but a bit of corn finish. Somewhat watery finish. Decent.

(Tap) Pours a yellow color with no head and relatively low carbonation. Aroma of corn flakes and grass. Very light palate. Actually less offensive than some of their other beers, but still pretty darn bad.

Served on draft, a rather typical blonde ale, lacking in flavor slightly cloudy, drinks down like water.
