3.2 APA whats a brewer to do?How about higher gravity wort with less
attenuating yeast! I thought it had the hops just not the malt to balance the brew.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 3fourths (6399) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 10, 2005
Light golden amber color, hoppy and bitter, dry palate and flavor. Gritty wheat and scorching hops... but not a hop devil, no, rather it’s like an inflated American ESB... leafy, semi-sweet Mount Hood hops, not that bad, certainly drinkable. However, to be fair, my complaint is that the required balance does not exist, not enough malt sweetness, or hop citrus juice, just a dry, dusty overwhelming bitterness. The nose is fuesal with some light hops, though I think my glass was dirty... it had a little bit of a sweaty armpit aroma that was not consistent with the flavor at all, so unless I hear otherwise, I blame the dishwasher.
