Copper pour, no head or lace. Light aroma. Dry, dusty flavor, with some woody caramel flavor. Light flavor. Very flat, beery and grainy with a sour/sweet corny flavor. Not very good.

Deep copper pour with off white head and lace. Caramel malt dominates the aroama. Sweet caramel and a light resiny bitter finish. Light bodied and fizzy. An ok beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear brown with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, light fruits. Flavor is sweet and malty with a light body. A pretty dull amber, but it’s drinkable.

Not really any aroma. This is okay. A bit sweet and caffeinated, this has malt first and some late hops. Interesting but not real great. A light sour milk finish.

One of the more enjoyable beers from Belle Isle’s lineup. Medium bodied, pours deep tea red. Perhaps a bit thin on taste, but overall very drinkable.

On tap at the brewery. Pours dark amber with a slight head. Has a caramel sweet smell. Medium bodied with a pleasing mouthfeel. Taste is caramel sweet with a nice roasted malt base. Finishes with a toasted grain taste on the palate. Another tasty brew from this unheralded brewery. Sept 2003
