UPDATED: FEB 21, 2007 A wheat beer disguised as a pilsner, I cannot taste the difference in hops between any of the beers produced at Belle Isle except for their IPA which tastes like grass. Again fairly dissapointing.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of bready malt, light citrus. Flavor is very sweet and fruity, especially orange. Sort of tastes like watered down oj. Hmm, not very good but somewhat drinkable.

Wow, this is pretty fruity. Tons of orange in this. Very cloudy. A little bit thickish. Extremely wheaty; too much for me.

Cloudy straw pour, medium head, medium lacing. Fizzy, thickish mouth, very light cinnamon/banana. The tripel taste is a little artificial, with a sickish sour taste. Not bad, seems like it would be a lot better without sourness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow hue with a slight head. Has a spicy sweet malt smell. Light to medium bodied with nice carbonation. Taste is of sweet tart malts and spices.I’m kind of surprized no one has reviewed any brews from here, they’re pretty good, considering we’re in the middle of a craft beer desert.May 2003

(Tap) Pours a hazy golden color, with a small amount of head. Only a faint hefe character. Slightly sour (not unlike the rest of their beers). Very light body. Another disappointment.
