2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2012
25cl bottle, best before 19th Aug 2010, drank and reviewed on a sunny 25th Jun 2010. The beer was poured into a ’Mort Subite’ flute.
Raspberry red colour, almost clear, with just a hint of a hazy cloud. On top a foaming light red head.
Very little aroma, some red fruits, but no huge raspberry feel to it.
The taste is fairly sweet up front, a drier more sour flavouring comes later in the mouthfeel.
Not overly impressed, weak flavours, smells and body, the 2.9%ABV does nothing for it either.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20 Borresteijn (2756) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 5, 2012
25cl Bottle. Clear pinkish amber colour, white head. Aroma of cassis, raspberries, sweet. Flavour is sweet, raspberries and cassis again. A carbonated lemonade. Not bad though. Light bodied.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 BelgBeerGeek (1034) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - JAN 3, 2012
From backlog
Head: white
Colour: light pinkish red
Smell+taste: this is a bit better than their kriek , but again this is a artifially sweetend lambic, should be listed as fruit beer , not as a fruit lambic ...
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 JohnRMurdoch (1565) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUL 9, 2011
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Rich ruby colour with light pink foamy head. Sour raspberry aroma. Sweet raspberry flavour. Sweet aftertaste. Much better than other ratings suggest.
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 imdownthepub (7461) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2011
Bottled, 250ml from Sandra’s collection of beers. Reddy amber with pink head. Initial aroma of perfumed raspberry gives over to a particularly sweet, boiled sugar, candied flavour, the kind of flavour that you use to disguise medicines. Oooh err.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 txspartan (665) - Wilrijk, BELGIUM - APR 9, 2011
I have had far better raspberry beers than this. Considering raspberry is my favourite berry, I’m disappointed.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 madmitch76 (6173) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2011
31st December 2006 Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle in Luxembourg. Not that extra fruity! Tastes like an unsweetened fruit pie. Refreshing but average.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 altonbrownd (3579) - Brussels, BELGIUM - OCT 4, 2010
Bottle from supermarket. Dark red body with pink head. Fruity and sweet nose. Taste of fruits, sugar and lots of framboise. Not bad. Bit too sharp.

In bottle in Belgium; good aroma and taste. This was the first one we tried in Belgium. Enjoyed the Mort Subtle beers better .. as well, these ones have very little alcohol.
