Smells of tart raspberries. Lovely aroma. Pours a clean ruby body with a golden tinge to it, light tan head atop. Sweet raspberry with slight hop action on the tongue, but not really strongly flavoured. Quite sour, with a foamy kind of mouthful with just a touch of bitterness and dry after feel. As with the Kriek, I feel like i'm drinking a wine rather than a beer. None the less, a very nice drop.

Poured from the bottle into a flute-type glass. A beautiful clear pinkish colour with a full head and good lacing. Aroma is of raspberry of course. A pleasant sourness in the taste.

Quite a unique gold/pink colour, with a good head. Aroma is clean, fresh, and while not immediately raspberry like, it is fruity and very appealing. Palate is light, with refreshing zesty, fruity, and cleansing flavours. This is a classic lambic, with all the clean refreshing character that these beers exhibit. Lovely!

Nice beer. Fruity, good raspberry taste. Starts to taste a little bit like wine.

Medium bodied with toasted malt and berry flavors. Rich aroma with a pinkish head. Lingering hop taste doesn't mix quite well with the fruit flavoring.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2005 Bottle. Dark copper/amber colour with a large, slightly pink head. Aroma is tart raspberries. Taste is less raspberry and more, well, like beer. Still dominated by the fruit but also some light bitterness, a bit of wood and a light sour finish. Nice mouthfeel. I quite like this.

Deep ruby red color, nice head and fair lace. Malt and fruity sweet nose. Start quite sweet, the middle moderate and less acidic than other I’ve tried, the finish is wineish dry and tart.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2006 MAgnificent lambic, it was sweet but not enough to discourage you to finish the bottle. The foam is ok, the colour a little uncanny but nice in general.
