25cl Flasche. Hellgelbes trübes Bier, luftiger Schaum. Säuerlicher Duft. Geschmack fruchtig sauer, dann getreidig. Es gibt bessere Gueuze.

Bottle. Aroma of bubblegum, strawberries and some other dark fruit. Flavor is sweet without almost any brett character. Semi dry finish Overall: nothing special. Missing lambic character. But still it is possible to enyoj in this beer.

Big ass bottle @ Bill’s 40th birthday party. 1991 vintage. Yellow appearance with a thin off white head. A touch buttery, lemon, light funk, dust, some spice, earth. Obviously not the best example to try but it doesn’t seem like a standout beer anyhow.

1999 vintage @ bottle share a few days ago.. Rating by memory! Looks.. Golden/Yellow, sml-med head. Smells.. Some citrus, old sock & barnyard. Tastes.. Really acidic for an aged lambic, sharp lemon and green apple like a much younger gueuze blend. Still good, but surprisingly there seemed to be very little ’rounding off’ of the sharpness of the palate attack acidity that usually comes with a gueuze this old..

From 3L at the Barrel Cellar for Bills 40th. 1991 vintage. Pour is murky brown with no heas and no lacing. Buttery, husky, slightly funky, lemony, doughy, sweet tarts, and cardboard in the aroma. Taste is lemony, cheesy, huge oxidation, old bread, caramel, and wood with a lightly sour finish. Slick mouthfeel with no carbonation. Pretty cool to try, but not good.

Amber color, medium lasting head. Aroma of vanila, coriander, cherries , peaches, sour winey notes. Taste is like vanila pudding with cherries. Sour sweet, winey aftertaste. Easy drinking.

250ml bottle. Clear amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity sherbet-like aroma, hints of peach, jelly bear ground mass, a touch of dill and gherkin. Taste is minimally tart, some citric acid, slightly artificial, sweet-ish, unspecific fruitiness; jelly bear ground mass or glucose syrup with some lemon.
