Cerveza de color ámbar, espuma blanca. Aroma afrutado, a malta y a madera. Sabor dulce, amargo al final, fácil de beber. He probado mejores geuzes que esta.

Kauge (410) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 28, 2014
UPDATED: JAN 3, 2015 Bottle from Wine of Galilee in Tallinn. Pours dark amber, some bits floating around, otherwise clear. Light head, retains, laces. Nose is tart fruits... near-putrid apples, basement, kind of caramelly, dusty, cereals, grains... some faint notes of delicately sweet vanilla and cherry too. Surprisingly pleasant. Taste is initially quite sour, but that’s quickly buried in a coating of caramelly and fruity sweetness. Palate slick and sticky. Carbonation average. Finish faintly dry and grainy... I find it to be more complex than Mort Subite’s Lambic Gueuze I had earlier, but this one is, however, clearly a lesser brew.

25cl bottle @El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. 13-07-2014.
In short: poor gueuze.
Having tasted this one several times along the years, now i rate it.
Pours hazy dark gold, with nice white head. Moderate head retention, some lacing. Fruity, some sour aroma. Light body, average to high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is some sweet, subtle sour. Some artificial flavours. Quite average.

Bottle @ home. Clear copper color with a large white head and some lacing. Aroma is quite sweet with cherries, vanilla, sugar, hay, oak, butter, fruits and light sourness. Lightly Sour and dry taste of wood, cherries, unpleasant white sugar, hay, wheat, butter. Dry & light tart finish with a lasting artificial cherry, citrus and sugar note.

Calisky (1204) - ALSACE, FRANCE - OCT 26, 2014
