1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
UPDATED: FEB 4, 2014 A lambic with a touch of apricot. Tastes like a perpetual battle between sweet and sour, though without a clear winner.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.33 bottle. A clear, dark copper color with a small, off-white head. Aroma is primarily yeasty with pale malts, and some fruits - alright. Taste is sour, yeasty, and fruity - apples first and foremost. A light to medium body, a slick texture, and a lively carbonation. Finish is medium long, rather sour and not entirely bad. Overall the beer is alright but not much of a gueuze.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, best before 3rd of september 2016. Dark orange with low, clear white head. Aroma of sourness, malts, and oak/wood. Taste is sour-sweet, wood, malts. The composition makes the whole beer feel somewhat off. Have been more impressed with other Belle-Vue beers.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2016 Pours a clear amber with a small frothy white head. Not a strong aroma on pouring but does develop an orange peel and musty malt smell. A light caramel sweetnesss with some sour malt tones. A bit light and thin.

Bottle, vintage 1981. Pours clear golden, with no head. Aroma is sweet dark fruits, wood and cellar notes. Medium body, with no carbonation. Flavour is dark fruity liqueur notes, raisins, wooden notes. Very drinkable for a 35 year old beer, but more interesting than good, really.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Two labels on the bottle with drink temperature but no details about the hops and malts.
A amber clear beer without head with a light body. I can smell the sour taste and the taste is also a little bit sour with orange. I feel also the oak cask. A short finish.
(I have a 0.25l bottle with best-before date 26.11.2016 44 12:12)
