Bottle @ home shared with my girlfriend. Nice deep dark red color, full sized off-white head. Smell and taste are sweetish, cherries, lots of sugar. Average body and carbonation. Way too sweet for me.

Botte (250 ml). Deep red with a small pink head and little lacing. Aroma is of sugar and sweet cherries. Taste is very similar and dominated by sugar. Light body. Medium carbonation. There’s not a lot to say about a beer like that. No complexity. It’s still "drinkable" though because it’s low abv and taste like sweet cherry juice.

25 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Carrefour. BBF 12/10/2014. Clear ruby / raspberry with touch amber & pink head. Smells like very sweet cherry candy with a touch of syrup & nothing else. Tastes of cherry candy with a metallic note, sweeteners, totally artificial, nothing but artificial cherry, candy, lightly metallic in the back. This taste only like artificial cherry flavouring & by that I mean cherry, there is nothing even remotely similar to kriek here. Even the label says min. 13.5% fruit including 9% cherries. Dear lord, you say kriek on the package & put cherries on the ingredients, also what is the other 4.5% of fruits?? Slightly watery, touch higher carb. Is this beer, this tastes like something you need to add to in small quantise to strong liquer. This is like pure artificial cherry flavourings at best, is there actually real lambic in this or just water with chemicals? Sigh…. painful stuff for a sourhead like me.

Beer doesn’t get much better than this. Aggressively, deeply fruity aroma, dark and heavy notes of cherry inviting you to go further into a sweet, lightly carbonated foretaste met with beautifully harmonized cherry tartness. Finish is a tad bit--hard to describe--earthy/soil-like?--f 5.0 perfection, and after all this is only the mass-market version of a kriek, but on a strict hedonism scale, one has to admit that this is one of the very best bottled substances on planet Earth.

Bottle from Bier Tempel. Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is ruby. Aroma and taste are sweet cherries, sugar, fruits, malt and little hops. Sweet finish.

Can. Pours clear ruby with ample pinkish head. Clear aroma of cheap cherry jam. Sweet flavour of cheap cherry juice with a sourish note in the finish. Rather watery. Refreshing but far too sweet. Definitely not the best kriek I have tried.

Bottle: Served in an Ikea taster (?): Medium sized, vast and sticky off white creamy foamy head with a light light pink/red ish sprinkle. A clear red colored beer. Aromas of cheery, malts, paper, porridge, hint of cardboard and some oat. Flavours of sweet porridge, sweet sour cherries, dust, paper, leaves, herbal and floral, light cardboard ish and some cream... Strange. Aftertaste is sweet sour with cherries, malts, herbs and paper. Low carbo, soft creamy close to silky ish mouthfeel, low to medium body and a creamy texture. Pfff I was hoping for better, wished it would be good, but damn... Unbalanced to say the least!
