3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
a real fruit beer so this has to be rated as such too. in it’s category it’s a nice and refreshing beer and as the name says, with addition of extra cherries for extra taste. Those who want a bit less overwhelming cherry taste I suggest the normal belle vue kriek.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from night shop in Brussels. Clear dark pink with light pink head. Sweet cherry candy, marzipan, lots of sugar and red berry jelly, light chemical herbal finish. Quite sweet. Medium bodied. I don’t get much difference with the regular Belle Vue.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Served in a tulip from a can. Pours cherry red colour with a strong pink head. Aroma is very powerful cherries with pleasant slightly sour notes. Taste is sweet cherries with slight sourness. Pleasant mouthfeel of full bodied fruity beer without sickly sweetness. Very nice powerful Kriek, perhaps a bit sweeter than expected but still a nice one.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Red glowing body, almost pink. Artificial candy like cherry sweetness, little golden malt undertone only. Soda like but a touch if sourness to lift it from the more horrible teeth crushing sugar examples usually found in the supermarket. Bit this is Belgian... There’s better. Cheap though, I guess. (25cl bottle from Delhaize Heverlee)

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Smell has a lot of cherry. More than juice like beer. Taste is very very sweet with some sourness in the end.
