On tap, in Paris, under name "Kriek bécasse". Lovely long-lasting pink head that leaves a lacing on the glass. Cherries are obvious in the taste, but not too bitter. Very refreshing and a nice companion to a meal. Fruity aftertaste.

Canned(250ml). –quite good kriek but a little bit too sweeter then ordinary Belle Vue Kriek, sweet cherry flavor, cherry aroma with few hints of sourness, mild soury lambic finish

Not too bad. I liked it, it was my wifes so overall not bad. I like the regular ole’ Kriek though. Decent but I got the feeling they added too much to create a new different beer. Not too bad

A nice strong cherry aroma. Flavor is full of sweet cherry. The finsih is a bit sticky, but mostly this is pretty good, in small amounts, which is how it came: a 25cl can.

Tap at Guinness Tavern, Paris.
Porus a thick, deep ruby red with a slight head of pink. Aroma is uber-sweet cherry Luden’s. Flavor is a sweet then mildly sour cherry. Nice and lingering on the tongue. Sweet, but not bad.

Le Cafe du Theatre, Montpellier. La Becasse Kriek. Pression. Red as a kriek. Raspberry flavoured lager. Quite pleasant. Penicillin foam head. Slightly sharp raspberry aroma. Good balance of sweet and sharp.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2006 Guess what? This smells more like cherry than cherries. Cranberry juice body with a suddy pinkish head. Layers of lacework ring the glass. Perfumey aroma with a hint of yoghurty sourness. As sweet as expected, but plenty enough sweet-sour complexity to have you reaching for another.
