Please note: this review is based on a bottle that has been properly stored for 16 years (vintage 1995) so it might not taste the same as a new one. Clear body, spongy pink/grey head. Amazing aroma, dried plums, cherry. After tasting... this beer makes you happy! Taste like Polish Christmas plum soup. Super!
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Martinus (868) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 20, 2011
When fresh even sweeter than the normal Belle-Vue kriek. Clear cherry red colour, pinkish white head. Loads of cherry juice, not much lambic character. Very sweet finish. Haven’t seen it around anymore lately, has it been retired? (from 25cL bottle)

Clear red with medium pink head. Sweet aroma with cherry and marzipan notes. Sweet flavour with artificial cherry and marzipan notes. Finished very sweet. I would love to try an authentic kreik from Belle-Vue at one point. Put some cherries in the Selection Lambic please.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 SaintMatty (2843) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - APR 30, 2008
250ml Bottle- 2007 Vintage. Dark red in colour with a lively pink head. Fruity, sweet cherry aroma with a hint of tartness. Sugary sweet cherry taste which is very refreshing but not much of a lambic element to it. Very refreshing on a hot day like today.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 16, 2007
(Bottled, 2007 edition) Clear, dark blood-red with a pink, medium and lacy head. Reasonably natural, but very sugary-sweet cherry aroma. Very sweet and sugary flavor with some cherry underneath, and definitely not a trace of any lambic that’s ever been a base of this one. It doesn’t taste bad, if you don’t mind the excess sweetness, but I do. Medium-bodied, thick and sugary palate with quite low carbonation. It’s sad - considering the body, this could be something like De Cam Kriekenlambic - too bad, that it has been achieved using sugar and not cherries.
