A bit of an over-commercialised fruit-beer here in Belgium. One of the most well known in our country, but we have better Cherish-beers.

Hazy red coloured beer with small pinkish head and medium carbontion. A fruity cherry aroma with a sour touch. Full sparkling palate. Finish is fruity sweet, well balanced.

Draught. Poured a ruby red with thick head that quickly settled. There was funk in the aroma, but it tasted like fizzy cordial, with a very slight sourness creeping in as it warmed. Medium bodied, average carbonation with a short finish that wasn’t as sweet as expected, at least.

Color red-amber with creamy and abundant foam. The elevated aroma of fruit is pleasant. The body is round and the complex taste, that goes from the sweet to the sour one.

Bottle from 1995 at Kulminator, Antwerp. A lot of cherries in both aroma and flavor, sweetness was not at all too sweet. No acidity and no carbon dioxide. Quite interesting.

Small pinkish white head. Deep red body. Yoghurty cherry aroma with marzipan notes. Sweet-dry metallic yoghurty cherry taste, a bit artificial, with wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry wooden marzipan cherry aftertaste. Decent, but no more. (0.33l draft, The Office Pub, St. Petersburg.)
