Tap. This style is way too sweet for me. Aroma is just cherries, which I like. Flavour is just sweet, with no balance. Medium body in the palate, with an oily texture. Red colour, fizzy, with a thin, long-lasting head.

Draught at Beer Belly. Bright candy red color. Aroma of sweet fake cherries and biscuits; sour fruits. Sweet, raspberry flavor, dull, with a rather dry and bitter finish and some bitter fink at the end but not a lambic funk. More raspberry than cherry, with cardboard and ass. Unpleasant and fake.

250 ml bottle. Antwerpen, Belgium. Ruby red colour with big pink head. Sweet cherry aroma with some sugar. Sourish cherry flavour with some sugary sweetness.

[On tap at Copa of Reading] Dirty mauve-red with a large pink head. Black forest gateaux, a little almond and a fair hit of maraschino cherries. Some sourness and a woody taste behind. Dry, woody finish. Not altogether convinced - felt vaguely queasy afterwards.

Bottle. Poured deep ruby red with with a fluffy pink head. Nose is cherry. Flavor is way too sweet with notes of cherry and wood.

Poured with a rich light red colour and a carbonated pink head; thought I’d opened up a champagne. Aroma is mildly cherry, and taste is also of cherries, but not overly sweet. Crisp, clean tasting.

33 cl bottle. Pours red with a pink head. Tastes a little bit like cherry. Sweet soury taste. Drink when thirsty I would say. Certainly not my beer of choice.

bottle from small restaurant in Brussels. Pours clear wine red with medium foamy head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is sweet fruits with some tart. Not a lot acidic. Taste is sweet fruits, slight tart and acidic. Much like the Mort Subite kriek. Too sweet to be called a kriek.
