a) Belle-Vue Kriek 5.2%: : Die erste Assoziation sind "Gummibärchen in Bier".
Test vom 20.2.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,4,11,7,12,8 - 8,00

Draft to goblet Cherry and raspberry candy and honey. Transparent vibrant red with a thin creamy tan head. Cherry candy taste and rhubarb. Hard to drink as the beer foams up in the mouth if left there longer than a few moments.

Draft - Maraschino cherry. Clear red with a rich pink head. Syrupy cherry with the slightest tartness, but too much sweetness. Finish is syrupy as well.

Cherry fruity aroma. Similar to a life-saver candy crushed up. Extreme bubbly carbonation, very thin on mouthfeel. Doesn’t seem to have the aged sour funk for a Kriek. However not offensive. Just lacks some immersion.

[10/9/13] Bottle at my hotel room in Brussels. 5.1%. As Belle-Vue Kriek Classique. Clear deep red with a big foamy pink head. Aroma of artificial cherry candy and some corny notes. Sweetish flavor with artificial cherry flavoring, sugary notes, a bit of cough syrup notes, a grainy note and a slightly drier finish with a faint sourish hint. Light-bodied. Not completely awful, but still not good at all.

Nice dark strawberry colour, good carbonation. Aroma of cherry, strawberries, slightest hint of lemon. Just on the sour side of the palate, refreshing lasting aftertaste. Summer in a bottle! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

25cl bottle. Hazy red with grey head. Nose : tart, cherries , apple and yeast. Sip : oily with medium carbonation. Sweet with strong tart notes and some candy like, chemical red fruits. The taste elaborate some sourness but mostly cloying sweet fruit tart.
