Quite a nice beer for the hot summer days, I like the slight sourness of the naturally yeasted beer, and the sour cherry gives it an extra zing. For a comercial Kriek it is quite good and as long as you don’t have a beer specialty shop. This beer will do quite nicely and keep you nicely amused without any nasty aftertaste.

Love the sour cherry aroma. Love the bottle as well. Without a doubt one of my favourite "fruity" creations. Having one of these occasionally is one of my guilty pleasures.

Smells strongly of cherry, a very red color. Flavor is quite sweet and with any crazy funk. Very similar to the Lindemans.

Bottle @ some cafe in Brussels. Pours a beautiful hazy pink body with a large light-hued pink head. Aroma is artificial cherry extracts and massive amounts of sugar. Taste is exactly what the aroma promised. This beer may look good, but it tastes pretty awful.

Aroma is predominantly sour cherry lollies. Flavour starts off with big sweet/sour candy cherry, doctor pepper and cough lollies. It totally dies out in the middle pallet developing into unappetising oxidised, bready cardboard with a tang. Finishes with a mild tingling sourness. Watered down and relatively bland.

Pink head, lighter red colour. Aroma is sour cherries, slight syrupy sweetness. Taste isn’t as bad, a hint of cherries and a hint of sour beer. But rather watered down and not as exciting as some of the elite krieks out there.

Aroma is a good mix of cherries and grains on the nose, not too sweet, not too dry. Looks very nice with a bright pink head that actually lingers, though it could be bigger. Has a very soft cherry feel with just a hint of grain in there, and a nice dry finish. A very good Kriek that’s not too hard to find.

Tap. Deep ruby color with a pink toned lacing foam. Sour cherry, vanilla, bubblegum, cherry, white grape in the fruity aroma. Sweet, slightly tarty taste in the medium body. Highly carbonated, which brings out a hint of metallic, sour aftertaste. Good!

(can) sold as Kriek Classique; red with medium pink head; aroma of cherries, malt; taste is cherries - but not overpowering nor too sweet, with slight long bitter finish, no ingredient list on the can so it is hard to say if they put any unsavory stuff in it
