Typical kriek, sweet and fruity, a little sour.

Bottle. Red pour with a good head. Looks very good. Sour nose with some cherries. Starts light sour but ends in a nice cherry taste. Expected it to be a lot more sour because of the aroma. Overall, very refreshing and nice beer.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Petronius (55) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 19, 2012
Beautiful color of rose wine. Smells like cherry lollipop. Light tartness, sweet and sticky on the tongue, but surprisingly dry and flowery on the finish.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2012 from bottle. aroma is cherry and cheap red wine, reminding me of sangria. taste is light sweet and light bitter. flavour is cherry lemonade with a slightly bitter finish. fizzy carbonation and light body.

Good fruit beer. Great sense of fruits, but after a while, only bitterness stay on your tongue. Foam medium, stays for 1 minute. Colour is dark-red. Really must-taste beer.
3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MrW (68) - Londerzeel, BELGIUM - APR 30, 2012
25 cl from the local supermarket.
Fruity (cherry) aroma but some sweets as well.
Pink red colour with a pink head.
Taste was a bit too sweet. Cherries, some bitterness and only a small amount of sourness.

Bottle. Rosy pink with a diminishing white head. Fresh cherry nose. Lightly sour cherry flavour with enormous sweetness. Too much.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 25, 2012
Jan 2010: Brown 25cl bottle of 4.3% ABV, poured into a Westmalle chalice.
Cherry red in colour, pink collar and lacing, a thin covering also sat on top of the body at first.
Weak aroma for a kriek, not your normal ’in your face’ cherry smell.
Sweet and syrup sweet, not a mans kriek at all, kids and sweet toothed females only.
Very un-impressed. Mass produced and you can tell.

Draught (Pint):
Sweet cherry smelling with lots of sugar and a slight bit of sourness, although the najority of the aroma comes from the cherries.
A deep, dark red colour with a thin and bubly, white head that is just under a centimetre tall and has average retention.
Again a sweet cherry taste with some syrup and sugar but like the smell there is not a lot else here really. A little too sweet and overpowering but not a terrible taste.
Light bodied and as expected, very sweet tasting with a sticky smooth finish.
Nice and sweet to begin with but after a while it gets a little bit too sugary and sickening, I imagine half a pint of this would have been a more appropriate amount to try.

33cl bottle. Colour is dark red with little bit brown in it. Very little foam. Aroma is weird, like there’s some kind of perfume in it. Not the best taste, probably because of the sweeteners. The aftertaste was somehow dry and tasteless. Actually everything about this beer was a bit boring...
